The Regional Park of Salinas and Arenales of San Javier is a protected area of the Region of Murcia is located in the north of the Mar Menor and it communicates with the Mediterranean Sea.
Isolated from the urban pressure and just 1 km away, the park is a wetland with sand which has an area of 856 hectares and where we can find 6 wild beaches, an ancient salt mining, a fishing port, a dunes and wetlands, which creates a wealth of flora and fauna and its famous mud baths.
The potential visitors are many and very different but all with a common characteristic feel and enjoy the beauty of a 100% NATURAL ENVIRONMENT.
Among the different activities we highlight the 20 km of trails for walking or bike rental and which include its 8 km of beaches sheltered ones; Enjoy the birding areas among which are flamingos, herons … ensañaran us in the Park Visitor Center, the mud baths in the Playa de la Mota known for their rheumatic both sports as diving schools there in the harbor or just enjoy a good beer in the sun their stalls.
